Matthew 19:26 With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
“For the Lord has done a great thing. Let no man think that he is beyond hope, for no one is beyond Gods reach.” (Keith Carter)
“There is no place were we may have fallen, where we cannot be saved. For salvation at its core is the Restoring of Relationship.” (KC)
“Salvation obtains for us a renewed fellowship, and a restored relationship with God. Our way to once again be connected to God our Father, for both Jew and Gentile. Because of Adam’s sin, we were all separated from God spiritually and became spiritually dead, because we were no longer connected to the life giving source. So Christ had to come to reconcile us back to God, restoring our connection by the forgiving of our sins, so we could become spiritually alive again. He came to give us life, so that we would not suffer eternal judgment. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life.” (Romans 6:23)
There are many scriptures in the old testament that prophesy of Christ the Jewish Messiah.
Isaiah 49:6 He says: βIt is not enough for You to be My Servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the protected ones of Israel. I will also make You a light for the nations, to bring My salvation to the ends of the earth.β
Christ came to bring salvation to all, to the Jew first then the Gentile. For the Jew is His people and they were the first to be given the oracles of God.
Isaiah 9:6 says “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful , The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
A Child was born to Mary, but a son was given by God for mans redemption.
Isaiah 7:14 “Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Meaning God with us.”
This Government, is the Kingdom of God which we enter and are able to experience, when we are are born again.
Luke 4:18 says ” The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
The gospel, the good news is here. It is the gospel of the Kingdom. Mankind gets to re-enter the kingdom of God, by being born again and receiving the Holy Spirit again. And given the power to overcome sin in our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit, The Paraclete,β to come along beside us to help. John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
And Matthew 24:14 says “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Being born again, we get to experience this kingdom.
John 3:2 “Jesus answered Nicodemas and said to him ” I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.” (AMP)
Christ was the Word, that was in the beginning with God, made flesh, to carry out the will of God, for the redemption of man. Jesus Christ the son of God.
John 1:1-17
“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.””
What has this blessing of salvation, through Christ given us?
This blessing has given us a renewed fellowship, a restored relationship, forgiveness of sin, and deliverance from sin. Through this salvation, we receive eternal life, the gift to live forever with our Lord and our Savior. We are accepted into the beloved of the Father. For It was to His own good pleasure that we are saved. Ephesians 1:5,6 “5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
1st John 3:1-2 says, ” 1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
” Through this relationship, we can learn who our Father is and how much He love us. In turn we give ourselves to the resorting of what was missing.” (KC)
” Through prayer, study, and the Spirit we are reformed into the image of Christ. It is not by our might or power, but by His Spirit says the Lord. We only need to listen, and obey.” (KC)
